go to http://slickdeals.net and search for it. You can see when the deal was posted and then do the math :)
this is the reason i started this post.
Ok,
I worked at Toys 'R Us a couple summers ago, and one of my friends there told me about how Microsoft gives people who sell their products free stuff (like xbox games, software, hardware, etc). The way it works is you go to http://expertzone.microsoft.com/welcome.aspx click sign up. Then you will be taken to a site where you have to enter your information, and the information of the store you work at (subosidly). So enter your name, choose a store of your choice (i've done it with toys r us and best buy, never worked for best buy). For the store that you choose, you'll need a store number, and a store phone number, both of which you can usually get if you go to the store's website and locate a store location. In the sign up they ask for your billing info, that's because you have to pay shipping, its not too bad though. I did this in the summer of 2004 and I got about 26 new and sealed xbox games and paid somethin like $100 in shipping.
After you fill that page out, just go to the second page and check the box 'all products.' After you sign up they say that you must wait 24 hours to access the reward zone, this is to try to make you think that they verify your information in some way. They can't verify anything, there isn't some huge central database that has every employee that works at every store that sells microsoft products, so no worries. I signed up last night again saying that I worked at toys r us, I havent worked there in 2 years and was still "approved" to use their site.
Once you're signed up you can take quizes on a crapload of products, each the better you do on each quiz, the more points you get, the more points you get, the more you can trade in for microsoft products.
The way I did it was to have a couple logins, do a couple different quizes that I know the answers to, and get the points real quick.
If you don't want the stuff you get, you can sell it on ebay, or simply go into a store that doesn't require a receipt for return (like toys r us), say you got it as a gift and they can give you store credit.
But that's how to do that, I got reminded of this from the Social Engineering for Free Tools post.
