Work Machine... asus K8N motherboard AMD 3400+ overclocked to 3200 stable! water cooled Nvidia 7800 2 gig of DDR400 flat out Samsung and NEC dvd burners..sorry can't remember the models..new this year. 2x Seagate 500 gig sata hdd's The 550W psu that came in the case and seems a bit underpowered Some grotty speakers, sound isn't important for this machine Samsung 750s monitor Running debian works server.. 15 IBM twin xeon blades !! say no more.....I want to turn 'em into a Beowulf (dreams are nice) Home Machines.. Main.. Dell Optiplex gx110 PIII 600 at 598?? onboard graphics (not a clue!) 512 M pc133 NEC 3550 dvd burner Some cheapo oem cd burner 1 maxtor 40 gig eide hdd (dump drive) 1 Fireball 8.6 drive (boot and OS) Samsung 750s 17\\" monitor.. Running debian and slackware10 No sound..2x fast ethernet cards instead in the only expansion slots Second Heap Cyrix 333 clocked to 400 ish and a bit crashy 2x quantum Fireball 20 gig ATI 3d rage pro Aztech 16a sound (crap that's old!) some 52x cdrom Philips 1508 monitor Running VideoLinux 2.1 3rd heap... P133 at 133 unknown mobo 2x maxtor 8.6gig hdd 128 meg of assorted simms Antique Plextor 4x cd writer Crystal 64 2 meg graphics Yamaha soundcard old hitachi 12\\" monitor Runs DSL installed as Debian and is a treat to use (big true blue IBM keyboard) Another relic.. Ace systems 486dx2 at 40 mhz 138 meg quantum hdd 32 meg simms no sound at the moment goldstar 2x cdrom..dated septenber 1991 Centurion cga/vga twin graphics (anyone remember those?) shares a monitor with another relic runs Windows 95 but is going over to some ancient slackware distro in the next week or so Other projects.. A packard bell 8088 that works but has no ide socket.. I found an isa ide card so.... A blown up Twin xeon blade..dunno what to do with it yet, went bang a couple of weeks ago when I was out... A compaq P2 266 which has lost it's drive and it's one of those with the bios on the drive!! A P2 400 Dell from the dump..the bios is intact and it boots but no time to work on it yet.. That's the lot apart from my Commodore64 that gets used on a weekly basis for putting headers on videotapes. Not bad for a 20 year old machine.
